Action Research for SPM Student Performance
1. Introduction
This training module aims to equip educators with the knowledge and practical skills to conduct Action Research for improving SPM student performance. It provides step-by-step guidance on identifying learning issues, planning interventions, collecting data, analyzing results, and reflecting on the effectiveness of actions implemented.
2. Training Objectives
- To explain the concept and importance of Action Research in education.
- To identify issues or learning problems affecting SPM student performance.
- To plan and implement an Action Research cycle (Plan–Act–Observe–Reflect).
- To analyze data and reflect on the outcomes of interventions.
- To produce a complete Action Research report based on findings.

This module is designed for SPM subject teachers, heads of panels, education officers, and teacher trainers interested in improving teaching effectiveness through Action Research.

Suggested duration: 1-day . Extended version: 2 days with project presentation.
